Certified Practicing Commissioning Specialist Program (CPCS)

This program requires specific combinations of knowledge and experience, as well as successful demonstration of commissioning management competency through examination. Those who hold these certifications must continue to prove competency to maintain the credential they have earned with two hours of continuing education per year.

Requirements
The requirements to enter the CPCS Program are:
  • Two (2) years of formal training in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Those without three years formal STEM training must pass IACPE CPE Level I or ICAPE Certified Process Technician Program.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in commissioning management with working experience in handling projects
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation from your associates who have knowledge of your study/work history and ethics
